Congratulations to our September Athletes of the Month brought to you by Tire Discounters! Each athlete was chosen by their coach based upon their performance and/or leadership during the month of September Zoe Jones- Anchored our defense all year, leading to a few really good results in the month of September. Ivan Weaver- Ivan's continued leadership by example on and off the field is second to none. During a difficult season, he is consistently putting in the work to help the team achieve its goals. Joey Ashman- Joey earned All-HCC honors with his 8th place finish at the HCC Championships, a meet boasting 6 of the top-10 teams in the state. Savana Miller- Savana not only broke our old SCHOOL RECORD but also the Brownsburg COURSE RECORD on Saturday finishing 3rd at the HCC Championships. Unfortunately for her, her teammate Kylie Cline beat her and is the new school record holder. Lilly Joseph- Lilly has done an outstanding job anchoring our defense. She recorded a career high 28 digs in the four set game against Fishers which was good for 15th all time on digs in a match. She's averaging over a 1.85 in serve receive and has really stepped up as a leader. Bryce Kriech- Fantastic Student Athlete! Works tirelessly to be the best he can be on and off the field. Loves his school, his program and his teammates. Chase Rigler- Chase has been a great leader for the Flashes this season as a Senior. Chase has lead us at #2 doubles this season and just defeated #25 Brownsburg at the #2 doubles position in our conference tournament in the HCC. Tyler Mayberry- Leader and workhorse of our team, always positive, has never complained Sofia Inocencio- Sofia is a senior captain on Varsity that has taken on a huge leader role on her team. She helps maintain the site, team social media, and communication. She learns new cheers, routines & stunts & teaches them to her teammates. Sofia has transitioned from flyer to base & everything in between with a great attitude. A very versatile athlete & outstanding cheerleader, Sofia is a role model amongst her peers. Kayla Parris- Helped FC to 2nd in COUNTY Tournament and was 4th overall individually. Was Medalist in 2 matches in September.
