The Lady Flashes Track Squad had a phenomenal day at the Hoosier State Relays finishing 6th place as a team. This is the highest team finish in school history for the Indoor State Meet. Scoring for the Flashes was the incredible foursome of Kaitlyn Pettet, Dakota Miller, Camryn Simons, and Savana Miller finishing 3rd in BOTH the 4x800 relay and the Distance Medley Relay. The 4x800 time of 9:13.64 is the 19th fastest all-time in Indiana while their Distance Medley time of 12:05.19 is the 6th fastest ever in the state of Indiana, and currently 18th fastest in the US. Senior Dez Webber competed in the Shot Put finishing 15th overall with a throw of 33'11". Akua Sackey competed in the 60m Dash and finished 22nd in the prelims. Akua came back in the 4x200 with teammates Miriam Mappes, Jadyn Bush, and Nyla McCarthy to finish 22nd. This concludes the indoor season as we move outdoors for the rest of the season beginning when we host Whiteland on Tuesday, April 8th.
