It was a HISTORIC night for the Lady Flashes Track team at the Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championships. The 4x800 Relay team of Kaitlin Pettet, Dakota Miller, Camryn Simons, and Savana Miller dominated the race breaking the school record, the HCC record, and also posted the #18 time IN THE NATION. The same 4 girls came back in the Distance Medley Relay to earn runner-up honors and their time of 12:18 is good enough for the 23rd fastest mark in the US. The 4x200 relay squad of Miriam Mappes, Abby Kirstein, Jadyn Bush, and Akua Sackey also broke the school record in the event, running the 16th fastest time in the state currently. Akua Sackey finished 4th in the 60m Dash with a NEW SCHOOL RECORD time of 7.84. Fellow freshman Natalie Vandesteene finished 5th in the 3200 as well. Sophomore Shelby Lambrecht took 7th overall in the shot Put. The Flashes placed 6th as a team, just 1 point out of 5th. Next up is the Hoosier State Relays next Saturday!
