The Flashes Boys XC squad ran their best race of the season so far to finish 3rd and punch their tickets to the State Championships next Saturday in Terre Haute. Senior Evan Farmer led the way with a 4th place finish with teammates Justin Reedus in 8th, both securing All-Region Honors. Cooper Trout, Emilio Leal, and Drew Wright rounded out the scoring with Ian Tharp right on their heels. The 3rd pace finish is the highest team finish for the boys since 2008. Also the boys qualify for State for the 4th straight year! They will race at 2:30pm next Saturday at the Lavern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute.
