The Flashes Cross Country teams successfully advanced to the IHSAA Regional on Saturday and the Boys were Runner-Up to #9 Mt Vernon and the #9 Lady Flashes were Sectional CHAMPS in dominating fashion taking 6 or the top-7 places. Savana Miller cruised to a comfortable victory in a time of 18:22 with Natalie Vandesteene and Dakota Miller both breaking 19:00 and completing a 1-2-3 finish. Evan Farmer used a massive surge in the last mile to secure his Sectional victory in a new PR time of 15:30. Justin Reedus fought hard to take 3rd place overall and broke 16:00. Both squads will compete at Shelbyville’s Blue River Park Saturday!
