The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams both punched their tickets to the State Championships on Saturday as the Boys finished 5th and the Girls finished 3rd in the Shelbyville Regional. The boys were led by All-Regional performances by junior Evan Farmer(5th) and Joey Ashman(13th). This is the boys 3rd straight year to advance to the State meet and the 12th time in program history. The 3rd place finish for the girls began with All-Regional performances by senior Kylie Cline who took individual Runner-up honors in a time of 18:07. Junior Savana Miller made it a huge 1-2 punch by finishing 5th overall. This is the 12th time the Girls have advanced to the State meet as a team in program history. The State Cross Country Championships will be held on Saturday at the Lavern Gibson Cross Country Course in Terre Haute. The boys will race at 12:00 and the girls race will begin at 2:30pm!
