Congratulations to our January Athletes of the Month! Each student was selected by their Head Coach based upon their leadership and/or performance during the month of January. # WeAreFlashes Journey Washington - Journey has had an excellent month of playing point guard and all-around basketball. Assists and Rebounding and effort have stood out the past month Alfonzo Graves- Alfonzo has grown into a steady and consistent leader for our team both on and off the floor and has embodied "leading by example" through this season so far. We are proud of his growth as a player and as a young man! Kelsi Lewis- Kelsi put the work in on the off-season and is stepping up her game, especially on Floor so far this season Charlee Cooper - Charlee is a captain this season and as always, does a phenomenal job leading her teammates. She comes to practice full of ideas for games and different ways to strengthen our team dynamic. Someone who truly values being a cheerleader and works hard inside and outside of cheerleading. Jayce Rothe: Jayce had two top 8 finishes at conference and was the boys' leading scorer at conference! Brooklyn Neal: Brooklyn had 2 top 16 finishes at conference and was the girls' leading scorer at the meet! Jayleigh Holler- Jayleigh finished 3rd in the women's IHSAA State finals tournament. Amonte Jordan- Amonte was the HCC champion at 175 pounds.
