The Freshman Flashes defeated the Perry Meridian Falcons 18-0 with a total team effort scoring touchdowns in all 3 phases of the game. Rian Frazier scored on a 1 yard rushing touchdown. DJ Mitchell returned a punt 53 yards for a touchdown. And Andrew Harmon returned an interception 12 yards for a touchdown. On offense DJ Mitchell ran for 41 yards and threw for 18 yards. Bryce Danzer had 18 yards rushing and Brice Garrison had 14 yards rushing. Top performers on defense were Gavin Kirstein (5 tackles), Jayce Brewer (4 tackles, 1 sack), Rian Frazier (4 tackles), Alex Gonsalez (3 tackles, 1 sack), Jacob Herman (3 tackles, 1 sack) and Tryden Latullipe (2 tackles, 1 sack). Trident Latulippe also shined on special teams placing all kickoffs at the 10 yard line or further along with one touchback. The Freshman Flashes are 1-0 on the year and will be in action next Saturday August 26 at Roncalli High School at 10:00 am.
